According to experts, domestic political problems in the US may increase fears in European and Asian capitals counting on American patronage. This creates an alarming incident.
According to Max Bergmann, an analyst at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, anyone around the world who relies on US security guarantees, including Tokyo, Seoul, Canberra, will have a sense of shock at the unreliability of the Americans, that they are not serious.
He noted that the political clash potentially undermines US foreign policy support for Ukraine, as well as America’s overall reliability with allies and partners around the world.
