Jeremy Clarkson has said goodbye to car shows

British journalist Jeremy Clarkson, one of the co-hosts of the car show Top Gear and then the Grand Tour on Amazon, announced that he will no longer host car shows. The Times reports that.

“We’re done. I’ve been doing car reviews on TV since 1989. That’s 34 years. And after next year, I won’t be doing it anymore,” the publication quotes Clarkson as saying.

The Grand Tour car show with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May will no longer air on Amazon Prime. Clarkson, Hammond and May recently returned from filming the show’s final Grand Tour special in Zimbabwe, which will air in February and conclude its fifth season. Options are being explored to continue the show with other presenters, but no positive decision has yet been made, the publication notes.
