WSJ: Apple promises that one in four of the world’s iPhones will be manufactured in India

Thus, every fourth phone in the world will come off the Indian assembly lines. To achieve this level, a new Foxconn plant is being built in India, which is scheduled to be launched in April next year.

It is also reported that the emphasis will be placed on the production of budget gadgets. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are now being manufactured in India.

Bloomberg writes that another plant – Tata Group – will be built in the south of India, which will be the largest in the country.
