The series is set in the distant future. Humans have settled beyond the Earth and founded the Galactic Empire, but it is threatened with disintegration and extinction. Therefore, scientist Gary Seldon created the organisation “Foundation”, designed to restore human civilisation after the coming upheavals.
The main roles in the show will again perform Jared Harris and Lee Pace. But the release date of the third season has not been announced yet.
Critics have praised Grounded. The rating for the first part on Rotten Tomatoes is 72 per cent and the second part is 100 per cent. Earlier Goyer told that the authors of the project want to shoot eight seasons.
